Campgrounds

There are many campgrounds throughout both the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Both the park itself and the surrounding areas allow plenty of opportunities for camping. You will find that camping is usually divided into two kinds of camping in the park: tent camping and rv camping. Both styles of camping are allowed in the campgrounds in the park and in the surrounding areas.

For RV camping you will want to find a campground that fits the needs of your RV and the needs of your family as well. Campgrounds just like hotels and cabins have different amenities, different scenic views and different size areas for you to pull your RV onto.
